Hen parties, awards, fashion week and Edinburgh

Sorry guys, I've been away for a while, as everything suddenly got really busy!  In between losing weight, my best friend getting married and work there hasn't been a lot of time to blog... but I am back to try and make a better effort over the next few months.

I thought I would share with you a snap shot of what I have been up to the last few months though, as although it's been busy, it has also been lots of fun!

So as you all know I spent the beginning of February at London Fashion Week rubbing shoulders with celebs and bloggers and although it was freezing I loved every second of it (I even made it in Glamour Magazine this month).

After London Fashion Week came to an end, I got the inevitable cold that comes with working 17 hour days in the freezing cold and running across London.  So I tucked myself up in bed and discovered the amazingness that is the Game of Thrones.  After the first episode I was completely hooked and managed to watch the entire 4 seasons in 2 weeks.  Anyone else just as addicted as me?

During my two week GoT marathon, was my BFF's hen party (bachelorette if you are reading from the USA) in Edinburgh.  Where we had hired out the most beautiful apartment for 15 girls and partied the nights away in our PJ's and glad rags for three days straight.

The apartment was absolutely stunning and I was so excited to be sharing a house with friends for the first time since Uni (living with boys doesn't count), sharing lip stick, make up tips and helping each other style our hair.

The most fun that we had though, had to be when we were taught to dance like Beyonće.  Yes you heard that right ladies, you can genuinely be taught Beyonće's moves and yes there is a video, but no I'm not sharing it publicly online... (#sorrynotsorry).

Onto a more glam part of the month and I was invited to some industry awards at the Grosvenor last week, where lots of wine was consumed, dancing was done and at the end of the night we all rolled into a taxi with our awards.

I loved the dress that I wore to the awards that night too, it's a beautiful turquoise floor length dress, with a side split that Angelina Jolie would be jealous of (or so I would like to think).  I bought it a few years ago with my lovely friend Robyn, who spotted it on the sale rail in Forever 21 - so it actually only cost me £5 (bargain).

Since going on my marathon weight loss battle of healthy eating and a training regime, I have managed to lose a grand total of 2 stone though, so this stunning dress looked a little sack like on, until my amazing mummy altered it all for me in one evening, so that I could wear it to the awards. Go TEAM MUM.

Without boring you all with too many details, I think this pretty much sums up the highlights my last few months away from the blog - but if you want to see more then follow me on my social channels below...
