Time for a treat

It was a while ago now that I wrote about my initial journey of losing weight, so I thought it was time for a quick update.

If you follow me on Instagram then you will already know that I am feeling pretty proud of myself for losing a grand total of one stone, thirteen inches and a whole dress size.  With this in mind, I think it is time to set myself a new goal this month.

My overall goal is to lose another stone, and be edging my way towards a size ten.  This is my goal for April, so if I don't achieve it by the end of the month I won't be too disappointed if I haven't got there in the next few weeks.

Over the last week I have fallen off the wagon slightly as I haven't felt too well (I've caught the plague from my two year old nephew) and work has been a little more hectic than normal (late nights mean quick and not so healthy dinners), so I haven't been attending the gym as much as I would have liked to.  This coming week I have a few days off though, as I was supposed to be in Germany.  So I am going to take full advantage of this and blast through some extra classes and workouts at the gym.

My aim for the end of the month therefore is to edge the needle on the scales nearer to the 9 stone mark and lose at least 7.5 more inches.

To do that, I think I need an incentive though and a good one.  So as I didn't treat myself after getting a promotion last month, I think February could be the time to do just that.

Here is what I have in mind...

If you have been reading my blog for a year or so, you will have seen that I love shoes.  I like handbags and I am pretty much addicted to fashion, but shoes are my best friend.

I feel like these shoes will also need a night out and something to wear with them and this is what I have in mind.
