Skater Skirts, ripped jeans and cami tops

If you are anything like me, you like to be comfortable in what you are wearing in the morning because you know you are going to be wearing it all day long at work.  That being said, I wouldn't roll into work wearing my PJ's.

I've always been slightly heavier than I would like, but grab a good pair of spanx and wear something to flatter your shape and you will feel just as confident as a model on the run way.  I try to ignore sizes in clothes as much as I can because these days it means nothing.  In Dotty P's I can be a size 8, while across the road in H&M I am a size 18.  Where is the logic in that?

I have a few 'go-to' outfits that I love and this is one of them...

My top I picked up for around 50p when I was in Thailand and I love it.  Crochet is looking to be one of the Summer's biggest trends and I've already worn this top a million times or more.

The skater skirt is a shape that I always find flattering on my figure, as I tend to have pretty broad shoulders and slim hips in comparison to each other.  So this style helps to balance me out a little.  The way that it pinches your waist is always an added bonus too and creates the illusion of a more hour glass figure.

After my 'wear heels every day for a month' challenge, I have found that I wear heels a lot more now and it tends to smarten up my more edgy outfits (like my overly ripped jeans).

Nude shoes and ripped jeans are starting to become a bit of a uniform for me too at the moment, mostly paired with a cami top.  They are always handy when you have had a late night and an early morning.
